Our Chapter

YPO Aspen was founded in 2012 by a core group of members from different YPO chapters, all of whom lived either full-time or part-time in Aspen. They were drawn together by their love of Aspen and recognized the need to create this exceptional resource to bring both local and part-time members together,in the spirit of YPO.

Our chapter now comprises 140 members, including both Primary members who live and work in Aspen, and Secondary members from chapters all over the world. With so much to offer, it is no surprise that since its founding, Aspen YPO has been recognized as one of the fastest growing chapters in YPO history.

What we offer

With 35+ events per year; we have Chapter education programs, relevant speaker series, member forums, spouse forums, networking events, après ski happy hours, outdoor challenges, and other special interest activities.

Our Chapter Concierge service provides each member and spouse the ability to tap into the entire chapter network to offer or request information, advice, or other items.

What is YPO?

How do I qualify?

Membership Qualifications for 2020-2021

Age:

Under the age of 45

Roll:

Title of CEO, President or equivalent and operational leader of qualifying company

Volume:

Gross annual sales of US $13M (US $9M for agency-type); or US $260M assets for financial institution; or US $15M enterprise value

Payroll:

50 full-time employees or > US $2M employee compensation and a minimum of 15 employees

Sponsorship:

Need two current YPO Aspen members to sponsor

What is involved in the membership process?
  • Complete a YPO application
  • Interview with the membership officer
  • Sponsors host luncheon for applicants with members
  • Attend two YPO Aspen events
  • Complete a 3rd party verification confirming your quantitative qualifications
  • Receive approval to join by the chapter board
  • Upon payment of dues, you will be an official YPO Aspen member
